Morning Coffee with Gomarus

About me

Headshot

Welcome to my Morning Coffee time.  Gomarus is my blog-name taken from Franciscus Gomarus (1563-1641), a staunch Calvinist of long ago and a defender of the doctrines of grace.  While he was a scholar, I am merely a two-bit sinner, saved by grace, who desires to proclaim the sovereignty of that grace to anyone in the cyber-world that God brings this way.  Think you are here by accident?

My real name is Jim.  I’m a native Texan and old enough to order from the Seniors menu when we eat breakfast at Denny’s.  I am an aerospace engineer by trade and have a M.A. in biblical studies.

I posted comments, thoughts, and other snippets on theology and theological issues in 2006 and 2007.  For now the blog is mostly inactive, although I may post once in a while.  Comments have been closed and prior comments removed, but you may email me at the address in the sidebar.
