Welcome to my Morning Coffee time. Gomarus is my blog-name taken from Franciscus Gomarus (1563-1641), a staunch Calvinist of long ago and a defender of the doctrines of grace. While he was a scholar, I am merely a two-bit sinner, saved by grace, who desires to proclaim the sovereignty of that grace to anyone in the cyber-world that God brings this way. My real name is Jim Ellis. I’m a native Texan and old enough to order from the Seniors menu when we eat breakfast at Denny’s. I am an aerospace engineer by trade and have a M.A. in biblical studies.
